Say for example you wanna buy drugs or something, you just fine and onion link to a marketplace, and most of them just kind of look like early versions of eBay or Amazon. You can probably guarantee every link that you were I could access is being monitored by various governing agencies, but there’s not much they can do outside of like a sting operation, but the economy on the dark web is actually super efficient, and anonymous, so I think for most people to get busted in a sting they would have to not understand what they were doing, which is extremely possible because… well it’s getting sketchy shit on the Internet… but it’s like not sketchy if that makes sense
