Those who changed political parties, what was the last straw that made you quit and decide to join the other side?

I've changed a couple times. Canada. I have voted for all 4 of our major political parties before.

2004 I voted Green, wasn't happy with the other platforms and just wanted increased representation of their priorities.

After 2008 I voted for a conservative budget because liberal spending was collapsing some European countries.

After 2012 I voted for a liberal budget because restricted spending was slowing our economic growth.

Today I would vote conservative again, housing is the biggest issue in my mind and I don't know if any party has a great plan for it. But the liberals have been at the wheel for 12 years and failed to do anything while things have gone insane and ruined many young couples chance at starting a life. Conservatives might have the best chance of forcing more developments to be green lit and cutting back on red tape that slows things down.
