I think there was a miscommunication here. I agree that I was in a rush when I posted that and therefore used a poor choice of words.

First off, Windy Hill Zone actually does have the same gravity as Mario Galaxy. Plus regardless of gravity, Robin alone would not be a reason to ban a stage (eventhough I don't really think he has any issue on that stage). You have stage strikes for a reason, and there's never been a stage banned for a character being too bad on it. It has to be characters being too good on a stage in order to ban it. If a character is too bad, then you can simply pick another character. If a character is too good, then you are basically forced to pick that character in order to compete with your opponent. There's a reason you pick stages before characters.

For Palutena's Temple, what I meant by my first sentence is that it's not solely Ganondorf but really all characters. The reason it's banned isn't because Ganon's bad on it, but because its so circle-campable. Meaning you are only the most mobile characters and the entire match is centered around who can run away the best. Ganondorf could probably circle camp the stage against like Robin if you are good enough since he is faster (but it's much harder to do than Jiggs versus Ganon). Really circle camping being the dominant strategy is what makes Palutena's Temple banned, not just that Ganondorf is bad. Did I say that well? I don't think I said that well. I hope you understand what I'm saying despite my bad communication . I'm not directly refuting what you said, but more like I'm trying to explain myself.

Circle-camping is just among the many reasons why Skyloft was banned. You can circle-camp when the platforms are there (the top ones). The caves of life is another issue it has. The platforms being destructible aren't really the reason it's banned, but the ledges being destructible is. The floating platforms being destructible actually help the stage a bit (as you can eliminate circle-camping and caves of life), but the main platform is a problem.

I agree with my complete misuse of "the aspects of Palutena's temple." It was more referring too how it's different how Brinstar and Rainbow Cruise were banned because Meta Knight were too good, and it's because of circle-camping that the stage is banned. I actually can't believe I said it that badly, and I should really stop posting when I don't have enough time to fully explain what I mean.
