Those who make >£100k, what do you do?

Also 19 work in banking with average a level results and obviously no degree,in my current sector of banking if i move jobs every few years and work my way up I am capped at probably 50-80k in many many years unless I become head of the department in which case its well into 6 figures (But highly unlikely it will happen), regardless this is only semi temporary. Therefore I am studying part time, it depends what exactly you want to get into but in regards to finance related sectors a degree and/or qualifications will almost always be necessary to earn a lot.

I also have a brother who works in advertising at 22 years old (currently doing a degree part time but it isn't and hasn't been pertinent to his job) and he is on 80k basic. His contract rate is £150-200 an hour due to the extremely niche market. My cousin didn't even do a levels and think he just scraped 5 gcses and he is on 90k in his mid/late 20s as a surveyor, it took a lot of hard work and getting his act together to do the exams and what not but hes doing well for himself.

Important thing to do is find a market where supply is limited compared to demand, for example good electricians that have smart business practices can earn 6 figures as the supply is falling but the population (atleast in London)is rising and so therefore is demand for electricians. This goes for most skilled labourers. It will take longer and cost more to learn how to be an accountant and mentally it will require more intelligence in most cases, however accountants dont earn much as the supply is so high.
