These are not even close to the same thing. I have everything packed and most of it is in bags. Except the delicate items, or things that wouldn't be boxed at all. All of it is gathered in one area to make it easier on them. If I hire a plumber to replace a sewer line it would make it easier on them if I dug out the line for them but I'm not doing that because that's what they're getting paid for. I am kind helpful and generous to anyone and everyone including waitstaff and movers. I would never snap my fingers at wait staff or anyone else. You make it seem like I'm an asshole because I am paying for a service that I'm not going out of my way to make easy on them. Why don't I just have them watch TV while I load the fucking truck? Why don't I dust the furniture before a cleaning lady comes over? If I'm paying for a service I'm not going to make it harder on myself. If that were the case, I wouldn't hire movers. period. So stop assuming I'm an asshole because I expect someone to perform the task they are being paid for. That's the way our labor for money system works. I'm not being unreasonable.
