Yeah i think you should be fine unless the truck screws up again (which if it's been pretty reliable, is at least a low chance).

It has done multiple cross-country trips without issue.

And if you're making min payments on the CC, you won't even really take a hit (you'll take a slight dip for utilization but that has no memory, don't sweat it). You'll just be paying a bit extra in interest.

Exactly, I took about a 60 point hit due to full utilization.

As long as you work up an emergency fund, then pay off the CC ASAP, you're doing golden. keep it up. Good luck!

We just had a massive shitstorm hit us over the past 2.5 years, drained the savings account and left us pretty well boned.

But, we have crawled out form worse.

I just wanted some third party opinions on a decision I made that I couldn't seem to decide if I was right or not.
