I thought this was just going to your average everyday ear cleaning video... it’s not. It might be the most disgusting video I’ve ever watched. You have been warned.

You're an idiot. No one is saying that you have a right to a specific person's work. But you do have a right to the field in general.

That's like saying I could be a firefighter, go to a house fire, see it's the home highschool bully, and decide, "nah, I'm not going to put this out and you can't make me!" And then not suffer reprecussions for that action. Or work for Time Warner Cable and refuse to fix someone's internet because they're black and that it would be okay because they don't have a right to my work.

Just like the government will provide you an attorney if you can't afford one, health care should be something that people can get. Top level care? Maybe, maybe not. I assume many of the best doctors, like many great lawyers, would still go into private practice.

Some people WANT to be public defenders, and they're paid for that, and they take the cases they're assigned because that's literally the job description. Why would it be so unreasonable to assume that many people would feel a call to be public doctors?

No one is trying to say that no matter who you are we can force you to do shit you don't want to. They're saying that there should be some sort of public option where people who are turned away by some high priced doctor because they're broke can go so they can stay alive.

That's called society.
