Thoughtful article on Ivermectin (horse de-wormer) and why you shouldn’t take it

I'm obviously pro vac

And your shit is dumb anyhow

The effect is purely in vitro, not in vivo.

how can you purely say this when the studies are still inconclusive? you a fuckin' time travler from the future?

So, although ot sounds like there is good reason to continue to study ivermectin, it is way too early to say whether it is actually effective because those studies aren't big and well controlled enough.

that doesn't go against "although ot sounds like there is good reason to continue to study ivermectin", so "although" doesn't make sense, I don't know if this is a grammatical error or you actually think studies should be given up for some weird reason

But the key part is vaccines are a preventative, people are still dying either due to lack of access to the vaccine (aka rest of the world since the US bought them all) or lack of desire to get vaccinated (or, even if vaccinated, lack of luck), Studying other treatments is highly important for those groups of people, you don't go "oh we have the vaccine, lets cancel all other efforts, throw all the dead people onto the burning pile"
