Anyway, I think Germany it's quite nice already for people with low income. Me and my husband are working really hard and we come in the highest bracket for taxes. I already lost my interest in pushing it any higher, because any raise we get it barely moves our netto income. So why bother? Also it doesn't really make sense to stay fulltime employed and paying so much taxes when I could stay home and spend more time with my kid. Why do I stress myself so much? It doesn't make sense.

This just to have the perspective of a regular employee that has an income above average ( not talking about people that inherited old money).
