The linked pack is a pretty-pure topload pack. Top load packs require careful planning so the thing you want is near the top which is not too much of a challenge, and complete unpacking to get at your stuff near the bottom - which flat out sucks. If you are buying a pack to travel with look for something with a 3/4 zipper - so that the whole front of the bag opens up into a monstrous opening where you can get at everything. It is so much more convenient.

If you already have one, I'd for sure try it out, it will probably be fine. Organization is overrated, and we all tend to obsess over the smallest details. But if you don't have it yet, buy something else.
