Thoughts on the current Labour party UK

Not automatically. A lot of the policies they've put forward haven't particularly deviated from the Corbyn manifesto ones - which Starmer said he wouldn't go back on.

What they've done is kicked out some members who still are banging the 'antisemitism in Labour is a manufactured crisis by (((them)))" type people - which they can't really avoid post-EHRC ruling or they'll be legally liable.

Thanks to the Unison trade union, they've managed to approve a rule change that raises the amouint of support any future Labour leaders candidates will need to garner from the current batch of MPs, from 10% up to 25%. Some are interpreting this as an attempt to sideline the left of the party, as it reduces the agenda-setting power of members. I don't personally agree with this, and don't think it's altogether a bad change.
