Thoughts on having flairs based on skill level so we know who to take advice from?

I wouldn't take advice from someone with a degree in musical composition who has never written a song. (Actual thing I came across on r/musictheory ). Maybe you would take their advice because theoretically they are credible. My stance is that if they can't demonstrate the knowledge then there's no way for me to know if you they know what they're talking about. It's really that simple, I need proof.

Maybe this is an agree to disagree thing for you, but it's perfectly rational to me. I understand the difference between someone who spends decades studying drums vs someone who has spent decades becoming a good drummer. The latter is less inclined to blindly regurgitate what others say, and is more likely to truly understand advances technique and put them into layman's terms.
