Thoughts on Lane Community collage

Interesting reading about how many people have gone to THREE different colleges and loved loved loved them all so darn much!

When I was there for additional accreditation the building were depressing, the staff utterly and completely unhelpful, the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, damn near impossible to get information as a new student. I didn't return after the first quarter, having had a thoroughly disheartening experience with a Spanish language class. The one where you paid almost $300 for a book, opened it up breaking the seal, and found a CD. Then the teacher says the first day that the CD is all you need. AND the bookstore doesn't take back or resell language books. AND it wasn't used at all the next semester.

This was the worst college experience I've had, and I have an advanced degree in a professional field. Also note that graduation rates were 11 percent. Honestly I have no idea how the college has maintained accreditation.
