Thoughts on Ren's future in the show?

I believe they'll continue with the last fight and show that everyone will be overrun with Grimm. Nora will be distracted with her own group of Grimm and a heart breaking moment will occur when she sees Ren die. With the sudden change of emotion she'll bust a few heads in order to get to Ren only to be too late. From there, the end of the battle, a speech is made by Ozpin about those that have fallen in the previous battle detailing how large of a loss it is to all of us to be parted with such talented and amazing friends, Nora gripping her weapon so hard her knuckles whiten. Nora now becomes angrier and angrier at herself for being distracted by Ren and Jaune, now no longer having Ren to go to for advice, will find himself doubting his leadership (until later on when hopefully he's everyone's last hope and he decides to own up to the challenge) throughout the story.

James now confronts Ozpin about the school and whether or not Ozpin is happy with himself by "forcing children to go to war." Glynda agrees with James that Beacon should be ended and the first priority should be the students safety since they are still children. Ozpin, not being one to believe that his students are incapable of great things, hesitantly agrees, knowing that him arguing will accomplish nothing. Ruby overhears all this over the vents (the little scamp) and tells the others. RWBY and JNPR now believe that if Beacon won't let them continue to be hunters and huntresses, they'll have to do it without Beacon's help. Other teams agree and begin to form their own guild of heroes. Now the show will consist of two separate factions saving the world. The Hunters and Huntresses of old, and the heroes of new. Now the each episode will focus on a team from either the new group or old group. Who knows, we may see Ozpin and Bartholomew fight together. Of course here and there will be cameos of the other group. Who knows, maybe JNPR team gets over run and Peter Port comes to rescue them, in the end giving them advice on how to be better fighters knowing that nothing he can say that sway the new team into giving up the fight and staying safe. That would allow for an epic finale where both team finally join as one to go against a massive army of Grimm where the professors no longer sees the new comers as students, but as equals.
