Technically could retire now but won’t. Can’t withdraw from retirement accounts for decades. Just think I’d rather be putting that $ into leveraging into more assets. Maybe we should all do what the government is doing. Leverage into assets and let inflation make the debt worthless. It comes down to whether we think the US is going to seriously pay any of this back. I see inflating it’s away as their only option and a very flat market for a very long time. I don’t see our gdp expanding too much to absorb jt. Mostly because we are up against the limits of natural resources. We can’t expand populations indefinitely to keep cleaning up the debt problem.
