Thoughts on starting a 2k basketball Youtube channel input needed, not trying to be corny. (LONG READ, short version on bottom).

I'll be honest, the concept sounds kind of whack. A lot of real life basketball concepts are going to be hard to apply through 2K due to it being a video game. Sure, 2K draws inspiration from real life, but that doesn't mean it'll be the most efficient way to play. It'd only work if you were pumping out actual effective 2K strategies, which again, aren't always going to line up with real life as much as you may want it.

Just giving my honest opinion. I watch a lot of 2k youtubers and other gamers youtubes, and it sounds like you're trying to appeal to kids by talking about bank shots which is a no-no.

I see a lot of comments saying all the usual stuff. "I don't wanna be cheese" "Don't do this trendy thing in your videos" blah blah. You gotta entertain the people somehow. Don't knock the trendy stuff, keep an open mind. Here are some facts, Da_Czar who is a 2K DEVELOPER routinely releases these like..3 hour long videos where he goes in DEPTH on the game...like..he'll talk about the programming of the fast break and how 2K has a ton of legacy code no one wants to touch which is why fast break offense/defense is so broken. I feel that's pretty vital information , but I've literally never seen it discussed because his long-form videos get about 500 views. It's just an example of how something that's super technical that's actually relevant to 2K will get glossed over if it's not presented in a digestable package.
