Thoughts on this sub in recent weeks/months

Thanks, that's a very kind offer. I am getting some help with my mental health, and it's not as bad now as it has been in the past, but obviously I'm not doing brilliantly.

This is, funnily enough, directly relevant to the topic at hand.

I was for a while receiving some excellent care as an outpatient seeing a specialist in psychotherapy and sleep disorders, but she (along with numerous other specialists and counsellors) ended up having to leave that clinic due to cuts.
I was discharged and told quite up front that the clinic must now turn away people who haven't been referred due to being at risk of harming themselves or others. Should my condition get worse the only option available to me right now would be seeking private treatment, and that is just beyond my means.

I'm constantly being told that voting Labour won't change this; that they're just "Tory Lite" now and the same, but I can speak from experience when I say our mental health services were much better before David Cameron dismantled them outright. I'm not expecting systemic change, I'm far too left-wing for that, but this narrative doesn't do anything for people like me who have seen the difference in the real world.
