I identify with this so much. Once at a local gay club I was selected for drag in a bag. Basically the host selects three people in the club to play. All the contestants get a back full of wigs and a dress or two. You get dressed and head back down to do a mini performance. Winner gets a $50 bar tab. So I’ve never done drag nor even considered trying it so I pretty much expected to lose from the get go but thought it might still be fun to perform and dance around like the queens I adore on drag race. The girl before me got womanizer and kinda Charlie hides her way through (third place). The guy after me got girls run the world and turned the shit out with kick spins and some serious hairography (obvious first place and he earned it). Me? I got the piano version of poker face like the version from glee. There was so little I could do that if the first girl hadn’t tanked so hard I might have been 3rd place. I got second by default lol
