I think now would be a good time to acknowledge that maybe people should stop saying “If you are against antifa, you are a pro-fascist!”.

The issue is more nuanced than that. A lot of people (esp a lot of immigrants in America) are afraid of both fascists on the right (nazis), and on the left (Soviet sympathizers/communists). If you are casually using Soviet symbolism, you are supporting a regime and ideology that is responsible for mass murder, diaspora, suppression of free speech, and throwing entire nations into poverty.

A lot of my immigrant friends who escaped communism and socialism are silently regretting coming to the states now. I don’t hear anyone standing up for them.
