Threat of Russian invasion in Canada's North 'very low' but that could change: Defence chief

Challenge? Is that what he says. Decades of neglect of the military, neglect of our sovereignty?

If the balloon goes up, we need find every living political CDS, PM and MND, especially Brian “the Butcher’ Mulroney at the head of the list that put Canada in this position and put them on the front line with the same equipment our soldiers will use.

If Putin dropped a nuke tomorrow, Canada could not even come close to meeting our NATO commitment. Army is at 65% readiness and the navy and air force are at less than half of that. Morale is so low retention and recruiting are at its lowest. And our current PM has been running around Europe saying absolutely nothing for days.

Putin will deserve what he gets but Canadian “leaders” will have to suffer the consequences for the death of every unprepared Canadian serviceman that dies.
