Three arrested over boy's circumcision in Nottingham

you have to wonder why they went after this one, and not the countless FGM cases within certain other faiths.

Because this little boy deserves his case to be properly considered and resolved in the justice system, regardless of whether other issues exist affecting other people elsewhere. Frankly, because not every single thing is about women. You're not required to care about this particular little human being that had something horrendous done to him. It's okay for you to only care about one gender, just, I dunno, keep it to yourself maybe? It's downright fugly to be insinuating that a little boy does not deserve justice because horrible things happen to women. And frankly, you're just detracting from your cause by always comparing which victim has it worse, and which type of victim deserves attention etc. Resolving this case will not in any way cause any harm to girls and women anywhere, it can only raise awareness of the issue of genital mutilation in general, and all will benefit from it, not just females.

Maybe you do not appreciate and share this sentiment, but here in Europe we care about equality of both genders, not just one of them. There is room for everyone's problems to be fixed, it's not necessary (or nice) to talk in a way as if fixing this particular case could somehow be detrimental to other groups. It's a little boy, and also a human fucking being. And I genuinely regret having to point this out to you, lest you forget....
