Through the Mirkwoods, Under the hills of Moria, all the way to Bag End

Idunn didn't allow herself to wonder for long as she kept her wits about her and paid close attention to her surroundings. She would be very disappointed in herself if her thoughts allowed someone to get the best of her and possibly steal Giml. She adored Giml in a way that she had never believed possible though she had reason to believe that it was only because she had seen Giml's birth as well as taken to train the pony when she reached the age of four. Giml was considerably intelligent for a horse so that training her had been simple and she had even been trained to follow Idunn when no reins pulled her.

Idunn watched the sky and allowed herself to be secretly pleased that it was early in the day so she would be able to at least reach the edge of the forest before it would turn toward night. "come my star let us pick up the pace in hopes to at least possibly seek shelter with the Elves for the night... while Elves are not a people i have met before, i do have hopes that they are not what i have heard...." Idunn commented with a sigh as she coaxed Giml into a trot. "i have my pride so i can assume that they likewise have such pride... and as seen; pride is not always a virtue.... pride in family and race can be good but pride in self can be a dangerous thing." Idunn allowed herself to ramble a bit and give a small grin when Giml's ear flicked which Idunn allowed herself to believe meant she was listening.

Idunn paid close mind to her location as she noted that the forest, while far off, was still visible even from this distance. She felt both fear and nerves bubble up in her stomach. she was a bit suprised that the nerves had only just occurred as even with the desire to travel; she had never actually traveled anywhere in her life. The three family migrations were before her time though her sister had been alive for the third and last migration. "Mahal give me the strength and courage to reach my destination. give me the clarity and protection to not be fooled or harmed as i make this journey." Idunn quietly prayed in what was barely a whisper.

she could barely help the tightening of her throat that came with the fear of starting anything. she could remember feeling similarly when first starting her training as well as when choosing her craft. She knew she was one of very few young Dwarves that found their craft when they were very young. 'i shan't allow whatever is causing this unease to bring an end to my travels when they have just barely began' Idunn thought before Coaxing Giml into a steady run as to reach the edge of the forest only that much faster.
