I made a lot of heart over head decisions that ultimately lead to me deciding that I simply couldn't be "understanding" anymore. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years because we couldn't afford anything else. His parents were gracious enough to let us stay. But now that the kids are in school full time, I am in school full time as well so that my kids don't have to live like they were in that house. They are with me 5 nights a week in a 1800 sq ft house with a giant yard and they go back to the cramped 1 bedroom in their grandparents house to see their dad....I mean... fill in the blanks here. I hate typing this out.

Yes, the kids have "stability" in that they get to continue to see their dad and grandparents in the exact same place they spent the first few years of their life... but he won't even be living there in a few months. They'll be having "visitation" at a middle man place... it is bizarre!

I'd LOVE to hear that him and his girlfriend decided to get a place big enough for the whole family! So that my kids feel included in his family. So that they know that they have a real place in his actual LIFE.
