Thursday evening drinking thread, presented by Cailler chocolate

So I've had quite the interesting last 24-36 hours. Most of you know the first part, but let me throw up everything that happened. Strap in, it's a long one.

-noon-ish: Leave Tulsa for OKC

-3:00-Eating before the concert, see severe weather headed my way. I knew it was rain but not severe.

-4:00-Show up at the venue (Diamond Ballroom), see the same two people I got to know pretty well the first time I saw Mastodon in Dallas. Hell yeah!

-5:00-Event manager shows up, says "there's a tornado headed right here, get the hell out"

-7:15- Doors open, I still get my front row seat I showed up early for. Graveyard, the first band, they were really good. It was blues rock with a few pinches of metal, I totally recommend them.

-8:30-Event staff shows up after Clutch still didn't come out, says that a cell was directly over the venue and the event was cancelled.

-9:45- Really bad stuff passes, I leave, realize all the surrounding gas stations are toast, due to no electricity. Had to go to north OKC, that was quite the detour.

-11:15- Going about 60 on the turnpike, hit a slick patch of the road. Fishtail, go off the road, run about 100 yards down this hill. I'm fine, the engine and what-not was too. Though the sign I hit caved in the roof, busted the rear windshield, and ruined the right rear quarterpanel. Thank God for full coverage.

-2:00-Parents finally show up to look over the car, get my stuff out of it, and get home (it was 2.5 hours from my house)

-6:00- Finally arrive home. Immediately crash.

-12:30- Wake up and go to Tulsa to move out of my dorm. Thankfully I got the big stuff out Tuesday.

-3:30-Finally get checked out

-4:00-Meeting yay!

-7:15-Get home.
