Thursday Megathread 06/04/15 | Ask Your ARR- and Heavensward-Related Questions Here!

So I'm trying to decide on a class to get to 50 before Heavensward and to raid with in Heavensward. I started playing a few months ago and got DRG to 50 as my first, but its not really something I enjoy. I generally don't go for that sort of class, but the armour was really nice looking so I just went for it. But it feels really slow paced for my tastes, especially with the global cooldown on everything I just can't seem to enjoy the combat, so I want to play something else.

I've looked at everything and I'm torn between Ninja and Bard, but I recently read/looked into Black Mage and they also seem really fun, and I feel like I'd enjoy the whole casting thing a lot considering I hate the global cooldown. Would be a lot easier having to cast. But I really don't know.

I generally like fast paced/mobile characters in MMOs. Thief if GW2, Hunter/Feral Druid in WoW, Archer in Tera, etc. Generally the daggery/stealth kind or someone with a bow and lots of mobility. But I kinda just went with Dragoon in this which I regret. So what would you suggest? I'd love to try them all but with the expansion being out on the 19th I don't really have time considering all my other classes are under level 10.

Ninja I like the look of a lot, the animations and just general looks of the class make me want to play it. Bard too, I love bows in games and they seem really active, but a friend told me you generally only get invited to raids for the TP/Mana restore, and raids generally only want one bard, so not sure if it'll be a good choice. Black Mage I'm kinda unsure about, the spending lots of mana then instantly restoring lots of mana sounds really fun, and I like the idea of having nice AoE and being a caster. I kinda like Monk too but the positional stuff puts me off it a bit. Wasn't a fan of that in WoW and only required it for like 2 skills. Any suggestions?
