Small annoyance. We get along well usually. But when my mil asks my husband about my pregnancy, she will say "how is the baby bump doing?" .... you mean how am I doing? It's not disembodied from me. It's not even really a bump yet. I guess it would be less weird to me too if she at least asked him how the baby was doing. But I'm a big part of the equation especially at this early stage, lol.

On mothers day, when I last saw her, whenever we would have to sit down, she would get excited and say "I want to sit next to the baby!" And take the seat next to me quickly so my husband couldn't sit there. Then talk to the baby for a second. Um..... you are sitting next to me :/ the baby is tiny and can't hear you.... and inside of me! You are sitting next to me......
