So, I was so freaking heart-broken over the deaths that I went kind of numb. And then I went and re-read the whole thing. So, two full reads in 24 hours.

And, while I am creeped the fuck out by how they describe Amos, I am glad that at least what made him Amos is still alive. And back with the Roci. Cause reading that death scene was like I was in a nightmare. No, Amos doesn’t die. Last man standing. James SA Corey is just fucking with us. Right? Right?! They wouldn’t kill Amos.

But no, they went there, and I thought I was going to have to go get a therapist tomorrow. And then when Amos came and saved Holden and Teresa, I kinda breathed again. A little.

But Jesus, the first line being Chrissy dead? And then...Bobbie (although kudos for how they wrote her ending, I can totally see Frankie doing that in my mind).

And then, when I thought it couldn’t get any creepier?! Amos telling Holden at the end that those things (do they even have a name? my brain is like jelly right now) Duarte pissed off were going to kill everyone.

I really kinda wished I knew how it was all going to end. James SA Corey, if you need people to read over book 9, I’m available. :)
