Ticket reseller sites illegally inflating prices by up to 500%, Choice says

If the price is 'way above the market value' as you put it, how are they able to sell the tickets? Something 'way above the market value' wouldn't be able to generate a profit because no one would want to buy it. The fact that scalpers are out there selling the product for well inflated prices shows the current price is too low, which is driving up demand in excess of supply. If you can't understand this basic concept of supply and demand, you should probably not mention 'economics' again.

You are a dope. You did read the article right?

You really think that if Ticketmaster sold tickets at 1000 each that they would sell out? Dumb!

You sell a limited supply for under the market rate, and you are going to have black markets popping up. It happens everywhere there is an artificial devaluation of the product. It's not me that's out of touch with reality when you fail to realise why black markets get created in the first place and why these scalpers exist.

That's not correct at all. That's assuming there are other sources of said item (besides Ticketmaster). You just don't understand at all and everything you have just said is pure idiocy.

lol I don't scalp tickets, I have no interest in doing so. I am removed enough and in control of my desires to be able to just say "oh well I missed out on tickets" or "it costs to much for me" rather than demand that everything gets catered around my specific wants.

Ok shill. Ticketmaster are really getting their social media team to work hard today hahaha
