I know I am late to the game on this one but I have never told anyone I did this until right now. I got really drunk at my apartment with some friends and it was about 40 degrees outside. I went out to my car to get something and when I went to get back inside i realized that I was locked out of the building. so i figure...no big deal I will ring the buzzer. so I start to ring that thing and nobody answers. I tried every combination of rings inlcuding just holding the damn thing down for 5 min. after like 20 min nobody answered and nobody came to the door. I was freezing(no socks/shoes and i was in a t-shirt in shorts). so In my incredibly drunk state...the only reasonable thing to do is break in somehow. so I took my now empty jack daniels bottle and threw it as hard as i could at the glass door. the door shatters everywhere and i just jumped through the window and started running as fast as I could up the stairs to my 3rd floor apartment. just knowing that everyone was goign to come to the door to see wtf jsut happened. so I get in my apartment to my two buddies completely passed out on the floor right next to the buzzer. I must have been gone a lot longer than a couple min to get something out of my car(cant really explain this part). so I go to bed and my girlfriend comes home the next day saying that someone broke the window. I look out over the balcony and sure as shit the jack daniels bottle is still sitting there on the ground with glass everywhere. Nobody ever found out it was me, and I have a feeling my girlfriend would have left me over this because i had some drinking issues back then. now 5 years later we are married with two kids I dont drink and things are good.
