TIFU by falling in actual love, nearly wrecking a marriage and a church

New feelings can be VERY strong. Old feelings can feel as if they fade. The new wears off so to speak.

If you couldn't say you loved her before she told you are you sure it is love?

I can tell you this. That man and woman with 2 kids love each other.

Are your feelings worth breaking up a family? Will they be there a year or two from now?

Sometimes love is knowing when to walk away. If it is ment to be then it will be. I eaited 14 years before asking my now wife out on a date. It came to pass that we were both single at the same time and everything aligned for us.

My questions to you are, if you love her how long could you wait? If you love her could you see her raise her kids with their father even if from a distance. If you love her are you ready to be a step father to 2 children? Do you love the children? They are as much apart of her as any thing.

I would like to end with a definition that has helped guided me in manhood.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version (NIV) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
