TIFU by getting kicked out of Japan.

just because some folks are idiots from x place doesn't mean they all are.

This is Japan. They don't want foreigners to begin with. Give them any reason to show why accepting us is a mistake to begin with and they'll run with it. They shouldn't be expected to add more burden to their visa process to avoid situations like this. They should continue course and forcefully remove law violators from their country, and I would be ecstatic if they never let OP back in.

This isn't an issue of leisurely travel. If you're just visiting you pretty much blindly get a tourist stamp in your passport. It's an issue of committing fraud when trying to enter a country and enter the workforce. People hate illegal immigrants coming into the US just like the Japanese hate people trying to illegally (or in many cases, legally) immigrate to Japan. On top of this is a disgusting level of entitlement, fueled by mom and dad's checkbook.

I don't find this to be an 'honest' mistake at all. He knowingly committed fraud because he couldn't be arsed to understand and follow the rules. He's shrugging it all off and trying to place the blame on a company that was absolutely not a party to his fraud. Now there is yet another 'incident' that immigration people can potentially use as ammunition to place greater restrictions on people who don't treat moving to a foreign country like an entitlement. The people affected by this type of fraudulent behavior are working adults who have their shit together. I refuse to allow myself to be affected without voicing my opinion.

It's fine if everyone else wants to coddle him, but as long as I have the capability of replying with my honest feelings, I will. Fuck OP. Don't come back.
