I respect your decision to press charges but think long term, if this could destroy this mans livelihood and career, Mabye what he did to you isn’t worth a lifetime affect? I’m sure he wanted to show off and was sure that you were one of the theifs. I get it though you have every right, not sure what weight these types of charges carry but if they’re something of a real record mabye rethink destroying a mans life despite the fact his actions are the cause of this. He’s in the wrong but I’m sure he believed you to be the the thief and what’s the chances of you actually not being when your right beside the thief helping him lol like what that’s crazy the friend probably didn’t think for second that you were telling the truth and I think that’s a fair human reaction. I don’t know sorry for the rant I just sometimes feel as if the result affect of some punishments of the law are overbearing for the crime committed and a ruined life over this seems avoidable and unnecessary if it were me.
