My new boss’ first day on the job, I introduced myself and held out my hand. He didn’t shake it, and asked if I had something to do, or did I need him to find something for me to do.

[About a week later.]. Figured he was having a bad day, and I was going to have to work with him for no telling how many years, I decided to try one more time:

(Holding out my hand) I hope we didn’t get off in the wrong foot, my name is (DogLips) and I’d like to ... he cut me off: I know who you are. What do you want.

I lowered my (unshaken) hand and said ‘Nothing’. I went to my HR and asked why he’s been so miserable to people since he got here?

I told her not to say anything to him, as he’s the kind of asshole who would make life hell if he found out. About 10 minutes later, he showed me the report she gave him with the word asshole highlighted and circled.

For the next 12 YEARS he tried to make me miserable enough to quit, but my resolve was stronger than his. I got a text from a coworker that he quit! NOBODY liked him! Not even the work boot licker.
