My bf is slowly deprogramming me from a lifetime of poop-shaming. He farts around me like its no big deal and I honestly don't mind it. Sometimes he even has great comedic timing. He also is very casual about going to poop and makes a joke about feeling lighter when he comes back.
It's important to him that we both feel super comfortable and unjudged at home.
It took me about 6 weeks of living together for me to actually really truly start pooping in earnest at home. My hope is to one day punctuate my own joke with a fart of my making.
Kind of related-- he also makes me feel really comfortable with the rest of my body. Lets me know he thinks Im beautiful all over and inside and out. That helps me relax too.
