TIFU by sending an accidental bomb threat to an airport

Not sure you'll find this interesting, however another airport story, so in the late 90s I worked in a small international airport, international was stretching it for sure, and even back then we could keep box cutters on one side, or the other of security, but you couldn't take one through security to the other side, I was basically running supplies throughout the airport for the restaurants, which was an easy job but kind of grueling at the same time, there was also some light maintenance like running trash to the compactor, and stuff like that, at certain times there was two of us on shifts, because we had a lot of stuff to deal with, well if we ever misplaced a box cutter we had to report it immediately, and I found out that this guy had misplaced his, and I'm like you got to report that if you really don't know where it is, I wasn't trying to be the snitch but I was like hey I'm not getting in trouble for this shit, so yeah that almost caused a airport lockdown, I don't know how many seconds away from when we were, when the search team, which was really just anybody that could grab to scour real fast before a lockdown, found it on some boxes downstairs in the loading docks.
