TIFU By teaching my son how to SLAY with a Nerf Gun.

As someone who has been in both private and public school, private school is rarely better and mainly only fosters a sense of elitism, whatever the original goal of putting them in there is. In fact, my private school tried to force me to accept creationism as my core belief, and thankfully I didn’t, because I would have failed every science test ever, and would probably have no idea how the natural world works right now.

Public school taught me STEM and prepared me for the future. Private school tried to teach me that our beliefs make us better than others. Also private school wasn’t any less of a volatile environment. In fact, it’s worse than public school in that regard, even non-religious private schools. Public school isn’t a bad option, the only people who don’t learn properly in public school are those who either don’t think it’s important to, or have different learning needs.
