i’m 17, never taken a shred of money or anything from his parents, i don’t even talk to them regularly anymore since i don’t go to their house unless they invite us over for dinner. i love my boyfriend we’ve been together for 3 years and been bestfriends for 17 years, i only said anything to get him to look at it differently and enjoy the rest at the very least.

your logic is flawed. so every parent who’s teenager complained about what they did is abusive?

if one kid had old shoes because they couldn’t afford new ones and another had brand new $300 shoes and kept talking about how amazing the new shoes are knowing the other kid couldn’t afford new ones, that’s not wrong?
