My father was a VP and assistant treasurer for a large corporation. The CEO had his own bathroom and it even had a shower, I actually shat in it once and the toilet paper was of very good quality. I had also gone to the bathroom in the executive level bathroom a couple times, nice TP there as well.

One time when visiting my father, I used the lower level bathroom(floors were based on level in the company, executives were top floor and the bottom 2 floors were non-executives, this was at a building in NYC). The bathroom at the lower level had horrible single ply.

From then on I had to have in my conscious that my father was responsible for giving people subpar toilet paper, it honestly offended me that my father got to use nice toilet paper and the CEO got to take showers. It got to the point where I brought it up with him and was angry even though it wasn't a direct action from him, however, he still was still a part of approving budgets. I am not 100 percent sure if this is true, but knowing my father it most likely is, he actually looked at the office supply budget or whatever it was called and told the person in charge of the managing of the budget that it would be easier logistically for all of the bathrooms to have the same toilet paper. I feel like the reason it pissed me off so much is I am lactose intolerant and have IBS, so I usually go to the bathroom more than once a day and single ply makes my anus bleed.

Also, disclaimer, my father is not an asshole. He has donated most of the money he made working, and has since retired, and now lives in a 2 bedroom 2 bath house in Florida. He did buy a really nice boat and watch however.
