I think every use of lethal force is serious and needs to be investigated by an outside agency -

I think it should be easier to fire a police officer, if you kill someone on duty - even if it was an honest accident, mistaken identity, fear etc, then you just don't have the chops for the job, rough luck for the cop, but nowhere near as bad as the person who gets burried.

On the back side of that coin, we need to fix the system or let the one we have in place play out before we go berserker - America's attention span following 9-11 literally became 24 hours, and if it takes a few weeks for a good investigation, we have to let that play out before going nuts and making wild ass assumptions and smashing shit.

As a personal challenge to you, I ask that on the tigard case will you read the outcome of the investigation and the grand jury results -
