Tik Tok girl after losing her job offer and trashing Deloitte online, rendering herself unemployable elsewhere

Maybe I'm forgetting my US history here, but I thought political speech was Literally a protected class under the first amendment in terms of not being subject to censorship on the part of the state. I'm not sure if it's protected in employment related situations like this explicitly by law, but I suppose what I'm trying to say is that it should be.

As to your point about her using the same platform to discuss her working for Deloitte, then that would change my mind about the whole thing. If she's mixing personal and professional lives on the platform, then I would say Deloitte acted reasonably in cancelling her offer. I hadn't heard that she had also discussed Deloitte on the platform before, so that changes my mind
