TIL in 2008 a man at a ski resort in Italy stole a rubber padding used on a barrier to stop people at the bottom of a sledding hill. He used the padding to sled down the hill, hitting the barrier that he stole the padding from and died.

There's not many ways for me to endanger other people without me knowing it. The worst things I have done in my life has done nothing but endagering myself if anything and that includes drinking with friends in their apartment or getting in fights with people. Both situations are few and far between, so no, you can't guarantee it as a matter of fact. I am usually always stressed or on alert about things that are a possible in everyday life.

Don't get me wrong, I am far from a good person or perfect, but I wouldn't do something that risks somebodies life in such an obvious way like removing saftey measuring in an area to prevent life.

Also, people on the internet are always going to be jerks when looking at things from one perspective, but the situation mentioned is something that risks people's life solely to have a little fun, so I can understand people's views on this situation. He might have been a nice guy, and it's a terrible shame that he lost his life, but he did put other people at risk.
