TIL about imposter syndrome, a psychological condition that causes the sufferer to feel as though they are a fraud, and that their success is not because of their intelligence or hard work, but merely a result of luck or happenstance, and that they're about to be exposed at anytime.

There are whole companies in this country fully staffed and supported by American tax dollars and bailouts that are just turning a crank so that there CEO'S/shareholders receive money. You can sit at your desk and say that you add something to society, but really, literally, you've added only your dream of confluence and YOU could be ANYONE. On top of that you have burdened the economy with the debt and resources you incur/consume during your education. This education adds nothing tangible to society but leaves a big check for society to sit on so you can continue to turn a crank that only runs a number up for shareholders that debits the rest of the economy.
