TIL after his wife was denied water by upper caste people, Indian laborer Bapuro Tajne managed to dig her a well in under 40 days and ended up discovering a water source capable of sustaining his entire village.

Oh hey, another problem with Indians (of Indian descent btw). Their ridiculous unwavering pride in all things India.

/U/king_elessar is completely right, India is a shit hole in the modern world. The air quality there is unparalleled in how bad it is, and it doesn't even look like it's going to be improving soon. And don't pull the BS excuse of population, China is more populated, and their smog problems are improving (not to mention it doesn't smell half as bad. Tokyo, NYC, Seoul, those are all cities that have comparable populations and yet none of them are half as shit. So what excuse can you conjure up for this?

Indian governments can say that they're completely for women's rights, minority rights, and caste rights, but clearly, it's all for show. 63 million women are missing in India, that's more women than people living in Canada! But please, tell me how India is all pro-women.

Finally, let's look at a couple of the backwards traditions, and please justify them to me. For starters, most Brahmins can't eat eggs because apparently it's "unpure", but they won't stop at that, they'll stop the people from their household from consuming them even when it's necessary for their health (and don't you dare tell me this isn't true, one of my close relatives is suffering from a couple of deficiencies that would be solved by an egg at least once every other day). And this isn't some kind of thing isolated to a small group, like in America with militant Vegans, Jehovas Witnesses, and anti vaxxers, it's a widespread problem even within EDUCATED Brahmins.

Finally, idk what drugs you are on, but there is a very large Indian diaspora to the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe, because those people recognize India is a shithole (whether they acknowledge it or not) and decide to go there for better opportunities and clean air. If you think this is not the case, then please explain to me oh-nationalistic one, how are companies like Google, Microsoft, and Intel, able to bring in Indians from the IITs by the boatloads? If India was as great as you say it is, shouldn't there only be a couple of people coming west every year? It surely can't be a matter of competition by population, they're already at the top of the recruiting foodchain. Not to mention these are the best students that IIT has to offer, not bottom dudes who have to take whatever they can get.
