TIL Axl Rose once postponed a Guns N’ Roses show because he was watching TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze

Bullshit.
While I agree that musicians and other artists are allowed a certain amount of eccentricity, professional musicians and artists are expected to act...well, professional.

Performing in a major rock tour is not a creative act. The creativity was done long before the act got to the stage. A rock tour is a few hundred people who are all working very hard to get things exactly right at the right time. The people on stage have a job to do just the same as the people running the electrical cables.

My first exposure to this degree of professionalism was my first gig working behind the scenes at a Rush show about ten years ago. (I unloaded things from the trucks, not too glamorous.)
We were done with our jobs and were hanging around to watch the show. (This was when the real roadies took a nap. The next time you go to a rock show, consider that there are a bunch of people sleeping backstage while you are rocking out.)
The show was supposed to start at 8:00. At 7:55, I said, "It's almost time."
"Not yet," my boss said, "they will start at 8:17."
And he was right, to the minute.

That's the degree of organization required in a massively complex situation like a rock tour. There's so much stuff to do, some of it very dangerous, that you have to be organized. Everybody knows, to the minute, how long the show will last, how long it will take to tear everything down and load it on to the trucks, how long it will take to drive to the next city and set it all up again.
When Axl decides to go on an hour late because he's watching a movie, he throws an entire army of people off schedule.

Imagine that you work at your local arena. You, and a crew of people, have to be there at 8:00am to open the doors for the GnR trucks. You get there at 7:30 and stand around until 10:00 because the trucks are late because Asshole Rose wanted to watch a movie last night. You have to work through your lunch break because of it. Maybe you have to miss an appointment at your kids' school.

What do you say? "He's a rock star?" Nope. He's a jerk.
