TIL Charles Whitman (Texas Tower shooter) asked to have an autopsy after his death to see what caused him to kill. After the autopsy it was discovered that he had a tumor pressing on his brain, which could have been the reason for his shooting.

Sad but what's even sadder is our society claims good guys with guns aren't the problem it's bad guys with guns. Well tumors don't just go after the bad guys. I know I will be downvoted. But it's about time you idiots learned this slogan is down right stupid and honestly makes you hurt others for your ignorance on guns. For example that little girl in Texas who shot a gun instructor has to live with that her whole life. But she also has to live in a state where daily she will be told good people with a gun don't kill people, only bad people with guns do. I'm sure that little girl who has a idiot for a father loves to here that shit all the time. Be aware of what your saying and maybe think about it abstractly instead of narrow mindedly. Once again here proof from decades ago that shows good guys with a gun can lose their shit or good guns with a gun can make mistakes. The same asshats who preach bad guys with guns are the problem are the same people defending cops for shooting unarmed men daily. You people are just misinformed and can't even put your heads to gather to create a better slogan. You know one that doesn't alienate people and doesn't put down people like the little girl in Texas. Not to mention the slogan itself is false and holds no truth. I come from the Reddist state there is and even own guns. But I can tell from being educated on guns that people and organizations like the NRA are only holding back gun rights and making gun owners look like fucking idiots. Yeah guns are cool but the NRA literally wants to put a gun in everyone's hand when that is not smart for a society to do. The NRA would probably even push for laws to allow mental challenged and blind people to buy guns. That's how dumb the NRA is. As a gun owner it sickens me to see idiot gun owners support a organization which is only going to be the death of the second amendment because of how stupid and radical they are when it comes to guns. Guns are cool but you still have to think critically about them. Which the NRA does not do at all.
