TIL Dean Ambrose has only lost one singles match since Wrestlemania 32

Ditto that.

He was the main stick guy in the Shield. If I remember right, Seth was practically silent. He was billed as "The Architect," but with the curb stomp and his babyface move set, he was the silent assassin.

Seth's big dive at Extreme Rules was the turning point though. Whether he was ready on the mic or not (he wasn't) he couldn't be ignores after that dive.

His improvement on the mic started nearly immediately after the Shield split.

Dean, on the other hand, had these weird quirks and cool charisma that had me convinced he was the real star of the show.

Dean got lost in the split at first and it was sad. He was in the Dolph slot, alongside Dolph, of guys who seemed to always deserve better. Hed have his moments (like when he lost at the previous MITB), but they were too busy establishing Seth, who was by that point getting himself over by being fucking amazing, and Roman, who was being booked down the barrel of a gun.

Seth doesn't need shit now, and Roman got buried, and now, finally, it's Dean's turn. He waited it out, and he's been ready for it the whole time.

That said, I cant let him off the hook for the goofier parts of his gimmick, and his piss poor working punches. Just, ya know, to be fair. And no more rebound lariat.
