TIL Football has roughly 11 minutes of actual play time.

I've been to at least 3 games a year since I was 5 mainly around Christmas time, but I see your point about sense of community. And yes I did take shit, having played the sport my entire life as well I've always been surrounded by fellow soccer fans who didn't support Liverpool so yeah I did constantly get shit about them, week in and week out. Yeah the best I could muster up was fuck you for supporting city because there's not much between Liverpool and city because city have been utter shit their entire existence until they were bought out by oil money. I could have tried to call you a glory hunter but I already knew you to not be one having been from Manchester. I've been paying separate membership fees from my dad to LFC since I was 18. The closest team to me is brand new and over 5 hours away so you'll forgive me for not supporting them when I've been living and breathing Liverpool for my entire life. And it could be argued that teams like yours and Chelsea are helping to contribute to the commercialization of the sport, clubs need more and more money in order to try and keep up with the billionaire clubs that are outspending every team around them. You don't get to define what a fan is, there are people that sacrifice more than you in order to be able to support city, those people are just as much fans as you are. To look down on someone just because they aren't fortunate to live you where you do makes you quite a bit of a cunt. It sounds like you're just bitter because you can't afford the seasons tickets anymore and so want to try to find someone to blame. Oh it must those awful foreign fans, how fucking xenophobic of you.
