TIL that George RR Martin's A Storm of Swords lost the 2001 Hugo Award for Best Novel to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His response? "Eat your heart out, Rowling. Maybe you have billions of dollars and my Hugo, but you don't have readers like these."

You are using "rushed" differently than we were talking about. We were talking about whether D&D rushed the making of the show:

"when the showrunners want to rush to a finale"

"Far from wanting to rush they finale"

But you are talking about whether the show feels rushed (or is rushed) internally:

But for myself it felt rushed

They are related but different things. As a simple example for that statement, I could spend ten tears painstakingly making a two hour adaptation of War and Peac that feels rushed to the audience.

To establish that D&D rushed the making of the show requires more than than that the show feels (or is) rushed internally.
