TIL that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just 2 of dozens of Japanese cities subjected to massive incendiary attacks. Firestorms leveled almost 100 square miles in Japan's three largest cities (Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya) alone. Hundreds of thousands were killed and millions forced to evacuate.

Point is they still didn’t attempt to converse and avert atomic annihilation, thousand probably understating of innocent lives lost in the most horrific manner, with long lasting radiation poisoning of survivors from the only atomic power at the time, for further American imperialism, especially when you consider the war was really about imperialism and global dominance, Ford built tanks for Germany prior and up to ww2, General Motors synthetic fuel, standard oil of New Jersey provided fuel for u boats, IBM hollerin department, if farben made synthetic rubber for tanks etc.. Allen duelles aided nazis, and America and uk tried refused to change policy to intake refugees including denying Ann Frank’s visa. And they also had infilled visas within their own policies even hitler himself in regards to the Geneva convention said

“I can only hope that the other world which has such deep sympathy for these criminals [Jews] will at least be generous enough to convert this sympathy into practical aid. We on our part are ready to put all these criminals at the disposal of these countries, for all I care, even on luxury ships”

The only country of any decency at the convention was the Dominican Republic who said they would take refugees. Dachau opened in 1933 so you bet your ass those governments knew what was going on. And did nothing leading to a war which reaped immense profits for the us and corporations and furthered their global dominance.
