TIL Jeffrey Skilling - the CEO mastermind of the Enron scandal - is now a free man and plans to start another energy company with his former colleagues.

Accenture was created before the Enron scandal broke. And it was originally the Consulting division of Arthur Andersen, and had zero involvement with Enron.

I believe you are thinking of the Accounting division of Athur Andersen, who provided accounting services (not IT) for Enron. They were a separate company though, and were not a part of Enron. They also were eventually cleared of any wrongdoing, and they had no part in the whole Enron scandal, but the months that the feds suspended their licenses still bankrupted them.

And despite being part of the same company (Arthur Anderson), the group which became Accenture had absolutely zero to do with anything Enron related.
